Hi! I'm Akhila, an Instructional Designer.
Welcome to my Portfolio!
I create compelling and impactful learning journeys. Being an Instructional Designer gives me numerous opportunities to help people learn and grow in various ways. I work with people around the world and some of the exceptional co-IDs and this has strengthened my ability effectively collaborate in me. In the process of making a learning experience engaging, I get to learn and explore new things constantly.

"Learning experiences are like journeys. The journey starts where the learning is now and ends when the learner is successful. The end of the journey isn't knowing more, it's doing more."

With strong experience in Instructional Design, I specialize in training adult learners, designing impactful e-learnings, and developing learner-centric courses. The below points define my work on a high level.

  • Perform needs analysis and identify the gaps in the proposed learning

  • Prepare content outline and structure (storyboard) the content

  • Apply suitable Instructional Design theories such as Agile ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and SAM, and decide on evaluation strategies

  • Develop e-learnings, ILTs, and blended courses with the tools such as Storyline & Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, uPerform, Microsoft Office Suite, and a few other LMS tools

  • Review multiple courses from the learner's perspective to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the Instructional Design and Learning & Development space

PRIYANKA HIREMATH, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER

"Akhila and I worked on several projects at ISG. She has been consistent in delivering the projects on time. She is very good with content analyzing, development and designing. She is a quick learner and has been able to pick up new tools and technologies easily over the past. She collaborates well with all team members both internal and external. She builds a good rapport with coworkers. Overall, she is a good team player, skilled, self-motivated, approachable, determined, committed and open to feedback. It was indeed a pleasure working with her and I’m sure she will be a great asset to any team she joins."
